Beth founded Precision Accounting in 1998 with the intention of providing professional tax and accounting services to the Asheville area. Since then, the business has grown exponentially, adding more employees and many more clients. Beth works with both individuals and small businesses, offering tax planning and preparation, financial statement preparation, and tax resolution.
She truly enjoys getting to know each client, giving them personalized customer service, and becoming a trusted advisor. Beth also is a passionate advocate for her clients in tax resolution cases, and has made the process a much less stressful one.
When she’s not crunching numbers, Beth enjoys RV camping with friends and family, kayaking, traveling, and making jewelry.

Rodney came on as Beth’s partner in 2001, joining the Precision Accounting team as a tax preparation specialist. He works with clients on tax planning and consulting, corporate tax return preparation, personal tax return preparation, and accounting.
Rodney likes the personal attention and interaction he has with clients, and he builds lasting relationships with each one. When he’s out of the office, Rodney loves to travel with his wife, especially escaping to the beach.
Office Manager/Payroll Specialist

Since 2014, Sandi has evolved into the Payroll Specialist for Precision Accounting, as well as the Office Manager. Her dual role requires the processing of most client payrolls, some individual tax return preparation, and the day-to-day operations of the office.
Sandi enjoys managing the payroll process from start to finish, and solving any challenges that may arise. Her position as Office Manager provides a diverse and interesting set of tasks, depending on the day.
Her personal hobbies are equally diverse, and include traveling, kayaking, woodworking, reading, and volunteering in the goat barn at the historic Carl Sandburg House.

Brandy joined the Precision Accounting team in early 2023 as our receptionist. Her former background in customer service and restaurant management allowed her the opportunity to master bookkeeping and change roles quickly.
Brandy is very involved with her church congregation and enjoys spending time with her three children hiking and biking around western North Carolina, along with attending concerts and sporting events.

Amy joined the Precision Accounting team in 2024, relocating from Western New York. With over 30 years of experience in the accounting industry, she is an excellent asset to our team and clients.
In her spare time, Amy enjoys reading a good book, hiking, listening to live music, and spending time with her three grown boys and two dogs.

Lavada joined the Precision Accounting team in August 2024. Since graduating with her Degree in Accounting in 2019, she has spent her career in the bookkeeping and customer service industry.
Although Lavada is a busy mother of seven, she is passionate about baking, rescued rabbits and gliders, and supernatural romance novels, of which she is a twice-published author.

Jessica joined the Precision Accounting team as a Receptionist in 2024. She is one of the first contacts for our clients. Jess is always eager to lend a helping hand. With prior experience in accounting firms and a background in Business Management, she understands the importance of the client experience. She looks forward to building relationships with the clients for years to come.
Jessica is an avid hiker and enjoys cooking, photography and spending time with her family and dog, Sam when she is not taking care of the clients' needs here at Precision Accounting.
